Well, I'm back in the game! The official start day was last Wednesday. I am bigger than the last time I started by a couple pounds. I can't believe it. I literally felt ill every day because of all the overeating that took place over the holidays. It sucks...no other way to put it! Our Christmas present was a Nordic Trac Elliptical Machine. I am hoping that I can work out on it and not feel like I am dying...LOL!
I'll do a little history. I was doing so well, running 2 miles and walking at least a mile 5 days a week. I had lost 11 or 12 pounds and was feeling great. Then, we took off to my mom's house for 10 days. We returned back to the hottest place on the edge of the earth. Running was out of the question. So, I took a hiatus...bad move. Once I got out of the habit, all the bad habits returned. So, when school started back up, I went back into running mode. Unfortunately, I developed a painful case of plantar facitis. After 3 months of physical therapy, it was better. I did decide I didn't need to run on my poor foot. Which brings us to the elliptical machine.
Well, I started with the elliptical last Wednesday. 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week is the goal. I'm not dieting...I'm making smarter choices. At least that is how we are starting with it! I'm not sure if I'll be posting weights and measurements this time. I did last time because I thought it would make me be more accountable. You see where that got me! HA!
